Vials of blood are obtained as drops from the Theatre of Blood. It is used as the base instead of a vial of water when creating bastion and battlemage potions. It is also used to charge the scythe of vitur, with each vial of blood, along with 300 blood runes, providing 100 charges. White blood cells help your body fight infection. A CBC measures the number and types of white blood cells in your body. Any abnormal increases or decreases in the number or types of white blood.

This is relayed from a friend whom I trust. 3 vials of their blood was drawn. After a few moments they were called back and told they needed to give blood again because their previous samples broke. The person went back and gave 3 more vials. This time while the person was watching the 3 vials exploded in the hands of the person who did the draw. They were both very confused. This was quite a few years ago and this person has asked several doctors and nurses but has never received an explanation.
Any ideas or theories?. My guess would be that there was no vacuum in the tubes and the Phleb forced the blood into the tubes with a syringe. With the air occupying the space in the tube, and the blood being forced in, the pressure would result in either the top popping off, or the glass vial breaking.Even the most trusted sources can fall victim to exaggeration.
I had a very intelligent regular patient tell me about the time that a phlebotomist forgot to 'close off' her vein between switching vials. She said her blood poured out of her arm through the needle. I asked the coworker who she accused of this what had actually happened.
There was a defect in the straight needle he had been using and the safety device on the part of the needle that pierces the tube didn't engage when he switched vials. It resulted in a few drops of blood that got caught in the hub. He drew her last vial and withdrew the needle with the vial attached so that it didn't happen again. But the patient made it seem like a whole pint was left on the floor after the ordeal.
Sometimes people like to make a story a bit more interesting. The incident happened 30 years ago? Plastic vacutainer tubes were invented in the early 90s, so maybe it happened back when they were using glass tubes? The tubes have a vacuum seal so maybe there was some kind of imperfection in the forming process that was being help together by the vacuum and once that was removed the flaw caused them to break.I think it's far more likely that the phlebotomist didn't balance the centrifuge correctly and the glass tubes exploded in it, but that doesn't explain anything else in the story.
Honestly with a 30yr old story you don’t know what the truth is. Memories are very faulty and prone to changing drastically over time as they are retold.I think it’s possible that the tubes broke in the centrifuge and your friend was called back in. When they went in they were shown the broken tubes and had to be drawn again. Over 30+ years that memory has morphed into 1 incident. It doesn’t matter how truthful or reliable a person is on a daily basis, memories are still very susceptible to change. That is true memories can be faulty.
This person did specify having blood drawn 3 times though. The first time they didn't see the vials break and assumed they fell.
The second time they say they saw it happen in front of them and that caused them to draw a 3rd time (9 vials total). This person told the doctor if these vials broke they would not do another draw and would just go home. As faulty as our memories can be and as long ago as it was there are certain events that stick with you. This person has a fear of needles so the event was pretty traumatic for them. I suppose that could be used in support or against the case for memory distortion depending.
On 19 November 2017, the web site YourNewsWire published an article reporting that actor Keanu Reeves had proclaimed “Hollywood elites engage in the ritual abuse of children and the practice of drinking their blood”:
Hollywood elites use “the blood of babies to get high” according to Keanu Reeves, who warns that “these people believe the more innocent the child, and the more it suffered before it died, the better the high.“
“The revelations that are coming out of Hollywood now, I’m telling you, they are just the tip of the iceberg,” Keanu Reeves said in Milan, Italy, where he unveiled three motorbikes that he designed for a company that he co-founded in 2007.
According to Reeves, the number of Hollywood elites who engage in the ritual abuse of children and the practice of drinking their blood is not insignificant.
“Some of these guys carry around bottles of blood. They call it ‘red wine.’ But they don’t hide it.“
“From what I understand there is a supply chain that delivers young children on the regular. I’ve heard them refer to times of famine, times of feast.“
None of this was true: Although Reeves had recently attended a motorcycle convention in Milan, the actor gave no such interview as described above while there, nor was he recorded by any other source (at any time or location) as having made comments about “Hollywood elites” drinking the blood of children. This story was completely fabricated by YourNewsWire, a fake news site that peddles in shamelessly fictional clickbait.
Within days, the false YourNewsWire story about Keanu Reeves had been pulled and the URL redirected to point to a different article on the site.
YourNewsWire previously ran a similarly false story about singer Katy Perry’s supposedly having expressed a preference for cannibalism.
